Vincent is a professional facilitator, career/life coach, and a retired Chief of Police with over 28 years of law enforcement experience. He is P.O.S.T certified in the training of Community Oriented Policing strategies and for several years headed a successful community organization designed to bridge working relationships between the police department, residents, businesses, and other city departments and community stakeholders. He is well experienced in guiding groups in identifying their root cause issues and paths to success.  As a Coach, he assists clients in acknowledging and presenting their “best selves” in their efforts to achieve their personal and professional goals.  Vincent is a Dialogue Facilitator at the Museum of Tolerance where he guides deep discussions connected to social injustice, conflict, inequities, and paths to recovery and improvement.  His groups include law enforcement, educators, administrators, private industry and student groups.

Gustavo Adolfo Guerra Vásquez

is a recognized leader on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.  In his full-time work for Los Angeles County, GusTavo has supervised teams working on diversity, equity, inclusion including hate crime prevention, education, documentation, & response initiatives.  A native of Guatemala who came to Los Angeles at the age of eight, Mr. Guerra Vásquez ִhas lived in various parts of the greater Los Angeles area before settling in South Central Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz with Honors in the Major and College Honors.  GusTavo also went on to acquire a master’s degree, advancing to Ph.D. candidacy, at the University of California, Berkeley in Comparative Ethnic Studies with coursework in a Designated Emphasis on Women, Gender, and Sexuality.  Mr. Guerra Vásquez is trained in Advanced Conflict Mediation and has worked in diversity, equity and inclusion training and development for over twenty years.  His artistic and academic work has been published in poetic and academic anthologies.

AJ King, an Associate of the Aspire Group,is aconsultant in the non-profit field, providing grant-writing, facilitation, training, strategic planning, and other organizational development services for a variety of community-based and governmental organizations. AJ has worked for many years in the field of public health, most recently overseeing a national capacity building assistance program funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for health departments and community-based organizations. He has extensive experience developing training curricula and presenting to a variety of audiences. He has also served as the Co-Chair of the Los Angeles County HIV Prevention Planning Committee and was recently appointed to the Commission on HIV by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
